Radcliffe do double over Seconds

A quirk of the fixture list meant our Seconds opened the season with away and then home fixtures with RoT. There were no less than 7 changes from last week's one wicket defeat. The consequence was a particulary inexperienced batting line up in terms of Second XI cricket. Chasing a target of 220 was too much after Muhammed Aqeel's hundred but the response was a respectable one set up by a good opening stand by Alan Lewis (53) and Danny Hammond (25) with captain Eddy George (29) holding together a faltering middle and lower order.
