20 points and a "derby" win

An excellent win over our local rivals set up after WB made a flying start; Eddy G being hit to the boundary no less than 7 times in his 4th and 5th overs. However, wickets fell regulary with valuable contributions from Kamram and Matt who were called up from the Thirds due to a shortage of regular Seconds' bowlers. Also Taimoor is always on the money and the skipper's second spell was a more respectable 7-2-27-3. After a steady reply by Danny Hammond (21) and Richard Whittle(13), David Perry and Ryan Duggan initially proceeded with caution but from 68-2 at 19 overs within 10 overs they were 125-2 and cruising. Well done to David for a third Saturday 50 of 2015 and good evidence that Ryan is developing nicely as a batter at this level. 3-3 on the season which given various selection difficulties is a decent return.
