An excellent win over Poplars keeps Matt Wharmby's Thirds well placed in 4th and in the promotion race. Yayasekara and Ahmed returned fine figures in limiting the target to 131/8. In reply Patel was the solid opener with the shots from debutant Bramley and the always aggressive Stahlberger who hit 2 6's.
